Antony “Tony” Abboud is a partner and one of the proud founders of Gounaris Abboud, LPA. Tony is a long-time resident of the Miami Valley. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law and started practicing law in 2004.
His law career included positions as a municipal court prosecutor and acting magistrate. He has been blessed to focus his 20-year law career in the two areas of criminal and traffic defense.

In 2011, Tony was recognized by the Ohio Superlayers List and continued to be awarded that distinction in the years 2012, 2013, and 2014. In 2015, he was then honored with the distinction of Ohio Super Lawyer and has maintained that distinction in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
In addition, Tony is also honored as a Top 50 Lawyer in Cincinnati and Top 100 Lawyer in Ohio in the areas of criminal and traffic defense. In 2024, only 7 lawyers, including Tony and his partner, Nick Gounaris, were recognized from the Dayton area in the Top-50 Lawyers in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. Even more impressively, of those 7 Dayton area lawyers included in the list, the only 2 that focus on criminal defense were Tony and Nick.
